Dear Lucie,
I hope you’re well. I wanted to let you know that I’ve decided to stop attending therapy sessions for now. I truly appreciate the time, care, and support you’ve provided — our sessions have been very helpful, and I’m grateful for the progress we’ve made.
This feels like the right time for me to take a break and apply what I’ve learned on my own. Please know that this decision isn’t a reflection on you or your work — I’ve really valued your guidance.
I have learnt a great deal about myself over this time, to understand who I was and who I am now has been a key element and I wouldn’t have gained this understanding if it wasn’t for our sessions.
What comes now is something that I need to drive forward and I am happy to say that I now have the belief in myself and confidence to make this happen.
I have learnt to face up and discuss elements of my life and feelings that I would have never have done had it not been for our meetings and if not for that I dread to think how long it would’ve taken and how effective it would’ve been.
